My husband's job is relocating us possibly to the Fort Worth Texas area. We have both lived in Michigan for all of our lives and we are a young couple with two young kids (4 & 8 ) and are curious what is the safest place/neighborhood/area to live? Also the best elementary schools?
We are both very nervous and unsure since we've never live anywhere but Michigan and of course already knew the safest areas and best schools.
We have looked at many homes for sale but just aren't sure what area we should be focusing on....Help!
Any help would be so appreciated!!

Can you please post a little more information? There are many nice neighborhoods with good schools in the FW area. What didn't you like about the houses that you have seen in the past?? Do you want city or country feel? Do you need to be near a certain place for work? How much do you want to spend?

Well I haven't even been there yet the only houses that I've seen are on the internet and I have no clue as to what houses to look at in the right areas.
Alittle more about what i am looking for is a safe area. Somewhere where there aren't gangs or a lot of crime. I want my kids to be able to ride there bikes and not be scared. More of like a suburban area. Not the city and not country. I'd like to be able to drive to the grocery store in at least 15 miles. Spending is around 150k or less. Thanks!
