Quick question: I know this school is probably THE most sought after public school in the area and the middle school nearby (McLean) seems to be good also. But, what is your plan when the high school years come along? It looks like there's ZERO good public high schools in the area.

I ask this because I'm looking WAY into the future of my 2 year old. I'd like to eventually move to Fort Worth from Irving and I'm weighing the option of private schools.

Your input/opinions are greatly appreciated!

Yes. Actually, it compares really well to many of the best private schools in the metro area, especially if your kid is in the AP classes.

McClean is actually considered the "weak" school in the progression (TW-MC-Paschal).

I didn't know this. Thanks for the info. I still think (if we can afford it), private school is the better route for us. After several years teaching in public school, my husband wants to make sure our kids don't have to be subjected to the state testing if he can help it.
