Property Tax Rates-Woodland Springs
Hi-
Does anyone know of property tax rate of woodland springs? I wend to the tad.org site, but I can't make out the big mess of numbers. I've heard that it may be as high as 3.2%, is that true? Thanks in advance.

Isn't Woodland Springs in Keller? The tax rate for Keller residents is lower that Fort Worth. I thought it was more in the 2.6-2.8 range.

Woodland Springs is located in the city of Fort Worth but within the Keller ISD.
Actually the 2007 taxes came out 2 weeks ago and I didn't update my database. It looks as they went down...
City of Fort Worth 0.855000
Keller ISD: 1.357400
Tarrant Cty. 0.636277
Total 2.84

I had warned someone before about that problem. We were lucky to be made aware of that by our realtor when we were looking at houses in Keller. Do you know what other Keller ISD communities have that same issue? It would be beneficial to people looking at moving to Keller area.

yes--I think in general property west of 377 is in Fort worth city
but is is the Keller ISD that is the expensive part of the tax package...
Keller city tax is more expensive than FTW city--so if you are Keller and Keller, your tax % is more than Keller ISD and FTW city...at least that is my recollection from looking at the tax rates---
Keller lower the % because the APPRAISALS--the property values--were increased by TAD--so even thought the % may be less in some cases, the PROPERTY TAX is just the same or more...
.01 of 150,000 = 1500
.009 of 200,000 = 1800
so less IS more in some situations...

If you are in NW ISD on the North side of Woodland the tax rate is 2.90. You can download the tax estimator and get a pretty accurate rate for all areas by your address
