Hi all, we moved to Fort Worth (Westcliff West/TCU Area) from Austin two years ago and absolutely love it. We've found new favorite parks, schools, restaurants, etc. that meet or exceed our favorites from Austin, but one thing we haven't found is a church. Does anyone have suggestions for a vibrant, young-family-focused, somewhat progressive church?

We attended Gethsemane Lutheran in Austin (we are open to any denomination) and this review describes it pretty well, "Gethsemane welcomes all Christian traditions. There are many young children, and a positive, compassionate view of grace to the world is preached and lived out."

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Don't know, but you can probably find what you're looking for by trial and error with Episcopal, Methodist,, and ELCA Lutheran.

We just moved from Dallas to Fort Worth - not a huge jump, but too far to make the drive every week to our old church in Dallas. We have not been searching to aggressively, but on our list to try is First United Methodist downtown and Trinity Lutheran. We are looking for a more progressive church as well. If you find a place you like please let me know!

Non-judgemental, accepting of all faiths. Something north TX is seriously lacking in.

OP, if there is a Universal Unitarian church in the FW area, you might check them out. I know there's a good one in Dallas.
