Nice, ain't it. Just thought I'd post it.

And here's a night view....

Rats!! It's too bad it isn't going up anyway! That would have been a great addition to Fort Worth's skyline.

Stay away from I-35 in north FW. But Sundance Square should be hopping w/ all the hicks in town.

I'm used to hearing FW is part of Dallas. My relatives still ask me how I enjoy living in Dallas.

sabrinam is on a distinguished road
Default Azle is West of Fort Worth

Azle is just West of NW Fort Worth. I live in North West Fort Worth, near the speedway in what's loosely dubbed the "Alliance" area. This is a nice, peaceful but sprawling area. Still maintains the country feel, but you can sense the city is coming. I work for a law office/investigative firm in Arlington Jim Bearden & Associates, P.L.L.C. - the website has numerous Law Summaries that might familiarize you with Texas law, as it is very different than other states.

I wish you luck and if you're looking to build or buy, I would recommend Home Marketing Services in Carrollton/Addison, Texas because you can find no other seller that will be more above board with you. Building a house with them was easier than buying my car, but they also work with existing homes.

Good luck on your move and I hope you find what you're looking for. Additionally, good luck on the bar - we just had an associate pass the bar on the first try in November and from what I understand that's impressive.

Sabrina

I know very little about Texas, but I am trying to determine which communities would be close to my son and would allow me good employment opportunities. Incidentally, I am a lawyer and in the process of sitting for the Texas State Bar Exam.

I would appreciate any information at all regarding your community, the economy, the legal profession, or anything else you may find relevant.

I heard about that. Dallas' downtown hasn't had one ever since - over 50 years - so maybe downtown FW will be the same way.

Let's go back 10 years for a few minutes....

1998's Point Blank

I was just looking around on imdb when I noticed the movies filmed in Fort Worth. Point Blank was the first that came to mind.
I looked at this trailer and recognized where they exactly filmed it.
I remember my mom telling me that they were filming a movie at Town Center Mall (now known as La Gran Plaza), but until now, I didn't know what movie. Now I know.

And aparently some of Batman and Robin was filmed in Ft. Worth, too....... well that's one embarasment the city has.

While I've seen both of those movies, I didn't know they were filmed in FW. I'll have to rewatch them when I get around to it.

When I went to the FW Water Gardens for the first time last year, I was told that the film Logan's Run was partly filmed there.

Yeah. Logan's Run was filmed in Fort Worth, also. I just haven't seen it... or even heard about it until early last year.
