Mineral Rights
Has anyone else received a letter wanting to buy your rights in Ft. Worth off of Wilbarger? I have a rent house over there so I do not know if they have gone as a group or not. I was told you get more money if you go as a group!

Hey, do you know what your minerals are worth. XTO and Chesapeake do. See what I found at Enjoy Gas.

my turn

...Look, all I'm sayin' is, Fort Worth needs 20 more skyscrapers to justify its skyline. And at least 15 of them have to be over 600 ft. tall.
Why not have a "Batman" skyscraper just like Nashville has? Actually, might not be in the quantity of skyscrapers where your displaced angst will find its true answer, but perhaps in the quality of them. Seriously, not a Batman style but something truly representational of the city and I don't mean a cowboy hat! (Well, actually, Nashville HAD it -- they added this thing to bridge across the pointy ears...very depressing.)

How much snow did everyone get? I saw a dusting on my lawn in NW FW. I can't believe all these ISDs had a 2-hr. delay. Talk about wimpy superintendents! The roads were just fine.

We had about 1/2 inch.....but those that delayed are further north and had several inches. You are also talking about mostly rural areas where they don't have/get sandtrucks and their temps are lower than the metroplex for the most part. They dipped below freezing last night where most of us in Tarrant and Dallas county did not.

^ Yeah, I saw in the local news tonight that towns north and east of McKinney (including McK) received 3-6". D/FW area got 1-2" and towns south of I-20 got nothing. They're saying that there's a slight chance of snow on Thurs. night.

I just want to say something after this past weekend's high school state championship games.....
GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!
YES! North Crowley High School, my alma mater, finally won the state championship in boys basketball. Only 10 years in existance and we have won state championships in football, and now basketball.
...It would happen after the year I graduated. But still, give it up to the best basketball team in Fort Worth.
