Heaven forbid they allow any socioeconomic diversity to exist in Keller ISD.

Well not every place or ISD has to be the same and if they choose to run it that way then there are other places. And actually I thought there was quite a bit of economic diversity in Keller ISD. There is quite a wide variety of types of housing that are serviced by Keller ISD from Fort Worth, Fossil Creek to yes, Hidden Lake and the Florence area.

When single family housing is as economical as it is, why would you need to have a huge amount of apartments? Sorry I just don't get the point.

^ neither do I. Keller has alot of socio-economic diversity.
As Guingirl said the ISD incorporates a vast area that includes apartments to million dollar homes.

Carroll ISD (7772 student pop) is really the only one without much of socio-economic diversity. you have 1%of kids that recieve a free lunch and <1% with limited English

Keller Isd (27,794 student pop) has 13% on free lunch (with ALOT more schools than Carroll) and 4% limited English.

Being more diverse than Carroll ISD does not automatically make a school district diverse.

To say that Keller has a lot of socioeconomic diversity is ignorant at best.

Keller ISD is what we are talking about and maybe you should get out and drive around and actually see. I drive through it everyday.

Im sorry I guess our definition of socioeconomic diversity must be different from yours. Because this ISD services housing as low as 75,000.00 up to *gasp* over 1 million. But apparently, 5stones and I have no idea what you are talking about...

Guingirl, i see that we have different opinions. This forum was made for people to express those, but i do not want to get in a heated argument over diversity in Keller ISD. Lets just agree to disagree and leave it at that instead of continuously retaliating against each others posts; because this could go on for a while and i don't see either of us changing our opinion on this issue.

Have a wonderful day!
