Hiya - I really like the Haslet area, but was curious if anyone that lived there could tell me about the broadband connection. Is it cable or DSL available?

Are there any properties out there that run on gas or is it all electric. I noticed that it looks like some communities out there have propane.

Thanks in advance!!

I live in Haslet and my home is all electric. There are a couple of ways to get broadband access now. There is DSL available and wireless high speed too.

Hello,
We live in Lonesome Dove in Haslet Texas and at this time you can only get DSL. We are hoping that the new Uverse connection will be available soon. The subdivision Ashmoore has the new Uverse already which is much faster and you can get your TV, Phone and Internet all on one line. I think most of the new subdivisions have the Uverse triple play.

There are properties in Haslet that have propane or all electric. Our home is electric and propane...propane is expensive right now. I asked about electric heating but it is more expensive than propane. Maybe someone can tell you a little more about what type of gas is put in the new homes. I would call Texas Integrity Homes and ask them about what they are putting in the newer homes.

Hiya-- this is an older post. We were going to have Texas Integrity build, but ended up buying instead. Interesting to hear about the price of propane now, as we have both electric and propane (and the tank is half full). They were building in the Meadows over by you guys.

We are currently on Reliant on their .10/killowatt program and have been pretty happy with them so far with our electric.
