Default extended stay places

Does anyone know of somewhere to rent by the month. Someone mention to me an extended stay but the rent is a bit high. We are thinking this may solve our problem. We don't want to buy a house and it be in the wrong location and we don't want to get stuck in a 6 month lease either. We will be transfering for my husbands job so after we get there I will look a job, I would like to find a house that we can deal with the drive for both of us. I'd like it to be in the Keller area since that's where I think I want to eventually buy a house.

There are a few extended stay places off of 820 in the Fossil Creek area off of North Beach Street. Also as an alternative, there are a few apartment complexes that sign a lease for three and four months. When we were checking into them, there is one off of Western Center and 35W called Indigo Pointe that seemed safe and family friendly.

There are apartments that rent by the month, but honestly, we didn't like the areas.

do you know where your husband's job will be located--
everyone on the board pretty much encourages people to try to stay as close as possible for drive time to place of employment
