Default High wires around Eagle Mountain Lake

My husband and I fell in love with the Eagle Mountain Lake area when we were visiting last weekend. The only draw back we saw were the High wire lines (a set of 3) running along the ridge and in behind the elementary school. Does anybody have any input on whether or not we should be concerned by this amount of negative energy being so close to school and neighbourhoods? Also is Eagle Mountain Lake a good area to raise a family? How expensive is the membership to the Golf course? Are there lots of family type activities available for a very active 5yr old? Thanks for any info. Calgary, Alberta Canada
