recommendations for tv/audio install store
we are buying house and will be moving in couple of months--it is in Hurst
there is entertainment center in main LA where the owners current have an older model projection tv that they had a built in entertainment center custom built for...the bottom front panel/sides can be unscrewed and tv comes out...we want to get flat screen to put in there and wire for sound--supposedly there is surround sound maybe wired in--but there are no speakers in the ceiling...
there are also tvs in bedrooms that had the ceiling/wal mounted tv stands---
they are taking the tvs--we probably don't want to use the mounts but we asked them to leave them because we did not want the walls messed up...
I think the cable wire will have to be dropped to baseboard if we use more conventional tvs...
can anyone recommend good audio/video store---my husband is not going to mess with buying a tv on-line and doing the install himself...
but want people that know what they are doing and won't screw up...
I know that might be asking a lot...
just recommend people you have used for similar work...

I think there is one in Southlake as well. No, I haven't used them, but know of people that have and they had nothing but good things to say.

I would not recommend StarPower in Southlake. We have had a very difficult time getting ANY customer service from them, and what we have gotten has been very expensive. The buck seems to stop nowhere in this company. A friend in Dallas has had a similar experience.
My recommendation to anyone shopping for electronics and/or good service, shop elsewhere!

we used an independent contractor--he did pretty good job on the install but the advice about what type of equipment to purchase I think was really about saving him time from making house calls or dealing with problems getting us acclimated to the system...
