I'm thinking of extended the patio in my backyard so that I can better entertain guests there. I currently have a 10x10 patio but am thinking of 10x20 or 10x30. Does anyone have recommendations on a contractor who could do this relatively cheaply and with care? I also have some sprinkler heads that would have to be closed off. I live in the NW part of the city. TIA.

I have seen the work of Brian Barton in some mid and high end homes and the results are just incredible. He does pool decks too in different price ranges. I really don't know what his prices are but he will give you a free quote: 214-208-7925.

I appreciate the info., Naima. I'll give him a call when I return from vacation. Hopefully his prices aren't outrageous. I'm looking for a modest (read: cheap) extension of my patio.
