Chisolm Ridge/ Villas in Blue Mound area
I am looking at purcahsing a rental property in the Chisholm Ridge or Chisholm Villa developemnts off Blue Mound rd. Can anyone offer some insights into this area? Is this a nice area?

I dont think they are the best investment. I seen a few investors lose money in there. I would buy new single family homes, you can get more for rent. You have to hire the right property managemnet company.

Nice? Compared to what? The ghetto? Yes. Uptown Dallas? No. Everything in the area that's older has gone to ****. They are the nicest thing within a few miles, but only because they are new. Don't expect fellow homeowners to keep up their lawns or their homes.
