Default Which is better drive from Keller? Downtown Dallas or Addison?

Hello,
I will be starting from Keller on Hwy114. My employer has 2 office locations: Downtown Dallas (mainstreet) and in Addison (Dallas North Tollway).
From my home, the office location at Addison is 1 mile less than the one at Downtown Dallas. (according to google maps).
Which office location would be better for daily commute? I will post this question in Dallas thread also.

Thanks

I would say the Addison location. Based on the fact that Addison is accessible by different roads, you could take 635 to tollway, or 635 to midway, 190 around then back south, etc.. Whereas with downtown, there's one way in and one way out. If any of those are backed up you're stuck.

I would say there is no "good" way from 114 in Keller to either location...it is the lesser of two evils

You're screwed either way. However, if you did work in downtown Dallas, you could drive to the Hurst Dart Substation and take the train downtown, which might make it considerably less of a commute. The commute to South Hurst would be about 15 - 20 minutes, and the commute on DART would be another 30 minutes. Almost an hour, but the DART ride would always be consistently the same time. The commute to Addison could vary anywhere from 1.5 - 2 hours on any given day.

the TRE connect just depends on where in downtown someone is working--person could wind up having to take another bus to get to office

you should try for a carpool if Keller location cannot be changed--think that would be better option than the TRE frankly...
there are some carpool spots on line where people post for ride-share...

I am going to vote for downtown -- The toll way north is always a nightmare. I am a consultant and end up at clients all over the area - I live in Haslet and once you get through Grapevine - it's a PIECE OF CAKE to downtown -- It takes only 20 minutes -- even in traffice -- BUT first you have to get through Grapevine... ohhhhh -- please let them fix that soon! Good luck

Never go into Downtown Dallas if you don't have to! Addison!
