Default Need help with areas!

My husband is in the militarya nd just got orders to Fort Worth NAS JRB base. We will be transferring in early November. We would like to purchase a nice home in the 100,000 - 130,000 range. We do not want to rent an apartment first then move again in 6 months. So I am working with a realtor and she has suggested a few nice areas: White Settlement, Saginaw, Keller, NW Fort Worth, and North Richland Hills. What do you think of these areas? Do you suggest any other areas? We do want a nice, safe area and no where too rural. We will probably end up keeping this home as an investment even after we get our next orders in a few years. We also have a 7 year old daughter who we would like to attend Catholic school in the area? Can any of you suggest any and what area they are in? Thanks in advance!

White Settlement has some areas with newer homes, and it'd definitely be close to Carswell, making for a short commute. However, my recommendation would be perhaps the Saginaw or Haslet area for nice newer homes well within your price range, or North Richland Hills might suit you better if Saginaw and Haslet are too rural for you. They're probably not, but North Richland Hills can't be mistaken at all for being rural. Give Saginaw another couple of years, it's definitely headed that way.

Moved to TX last year from a very suburban area in SO. Calif. I was too weirded out to buy out "in the country" Now I wish we had. Just a bit more rural would be great.

The sunsets are beautiful. Be sure to have a house where you can see them.
