Any recommendations on authentic Irish pubs in the DFW area?

The Blarney Stone on lowest Greenville, and the Tipperrary Inn in Lakewood. I've heard that the Dubliner is good, but we always go to these two.

The Old Monk in Dallas wins best pub awards all the time. I drove over there last Month and was very impressed. Great beer (they emphasize Belgian beers) and most importantly great food. (This is where they out distance themselves from the pack) If you want to stay more on the Irish side...the same management runs the Idle Rich Pub which is larger and nicer inside than the Old Monk. Honestly I don't think a pub in Ft. Worth comes close to these two Dallas pubs...and I'm a Ft. Worth homer.

Tipperary Inn in Dallas, Trinity Hall over by the Angelika Theater.
Dublin Square N Fot Worth is irish themed but a more mainstream.
There's one in Arlington I can't remember the name of right now.

The best pub in Ft.Worth is the Ye Olde Bush and Bull at Mongomery. A great pub, nice crowd and Nick the host is happy to welcome you. Great beers from all around the World.

I used to live in Dallas and liked Trinity Hall at Mockingbird Station and Tipperary Inn in Lakewood as well as Blarney Stone on Lower Greenville for Irish Pubs. I don't know about Ft Worth.

Old Monk is Belgian and Idle Rich is well, SMUian but both are very cool.

Hubby and I just moved here and we are looking for which of the pubs actually has live Irish bands that play traditional drinking songs. We live by the Dublin Square but it doesn't look all that appealing

Lochrann's in Frisco does just this occasionally.

Yeah we want to pick a good pub that looks more authentic and we can pick a day when they have a good traditional act. We used to go every Sunday to a pub in Nashville that was GREAT! Had a really good traditional singer! That's the point of us going, to listen to the singing especially acts where they sing drinking songs where everyone joins in
