Thumbs down Tolar in Hood County on I377

Hi

any one living in Tolar that would care to let me know something about that small town. Is there a lot of traffic on the I377 going through the town and does it cause problems.

Jonathan

The "377" is very congested. They will be expanding it soon from 4 lanes to 6 lanes in Granbury. Being you will be in Tolar, you will get the traffic from people commuting to and from Stephenville and beyond and coming the other way to Fort Worth and beyond etc.
Are you asking because your property will be on 377? The 377 is a Highway and it is used. But I don't think it's a problem in Tolar unless your property is on it and the problem would be obvious (Looking out and seeing and hearing traffic) etc.
You should check out the "The Hood County News" it is a local newspaper here for all of Hood County.

Thank's very much for your reply Roma, the information about the 377 will be very useful when it comes to picking a property. My interest arises because Tolar is split in two by the 377, not a real problem unless there is a lot of traffic.

Some of the properties that I'm interested in are on the north side of the Town while other's are on the South side. As far as I can establish, the Kwiki Store is on the south side of the 377, so if living on the North side there may be problems getting across the street to get to the store for Gas and groceries.

I was hopeing the traffic would be less than it is here in Ireland, I would be interested to establish just what the traffic volume is. As you say the Road is being widened to a Six land from four, that would indicate what volume the traffic is likely to be in Tolar.

Thank's again for your reply,

Jonathan
