Crowley ISD is the one that stated it might not have the funds to actually OPEN the two schools it built this past year --that is not my imagination...
and others have posted about the decline in value in Crowley ISD in the teaching aspect and other slipping standards....

Just make sure it's not FWISD. Sadly enough, if your child is white, he will be persecuted. You don't understand the area yet. Any who disagree will not have attended FWISD. Just trying to protect your child.

Benbrook is cheap because it's at the far southwest end of the Metroplex. West of this place is ... West Texas!

Zip 76137: N of 820 and between 35 and 377.
I found this area quite good, especially the schools. I read some posts on this board, seems tax a little bit higher than Watauga. Park Glen, Parkview, Summberbrook, Sterling Creek, Summerfields, Britanny Space, what's the difference of these places? I heard that Park Glen is quite good.
Benbrook: outside 820.
This seems a quite safe place, and has a elementary school not bad (Benbrook). I checked some realtor websites, lots of old houses there. And many of them have been on market for many months. Why?
Outside 820, both sides of Granbury Rd.
Based on posts on this board, seems west side is better. Schools are not outstanding in this area. A little bit rough compared with above two areas. Hulen mall is close, but I'm not a shopping person. I like old houses. What else would be the problems?
Thanks.

Can you back this up?! It irks me when I read something like this. At least tell me a story.

keller school dist is the best one after plano
If you are planning to move to Fort worth you should try to look for Zip 76137 and 76248, some of the area in 76137 have Keller ISD and 76248 is 100% keller ISD
If you compare the Location + Community + newer home the price range you are looking for may not fit in per current market.
If your budget is close to 210K, you can buy a good house with Keller ISD let say 4 Bedroom 2 bath which can be 3 Bed room + 1 study, around 2400 Sq feet Home for 205K in a good community like Crowferd Farm etc

Thanks.
I will stick to my plan. I don't want a big house. I also don't want to spend too much money. Three bedroom house is what I want, also less than 2000 sq feet. How about 76180 area? I work at downtown area.

76180 is the city of North Richland Hills. Very nice area. A mix of older homes with mature trees and large lots. Newer homes start from the 300s.
There are many homes in your price range there. The school district is Birdville.

just drive the neighborhood--some areas in NRHills looks like they are moving to rental homes and are starting to show wear and tear
