Kennedale??
Can anyone give me a heads up. So far we have been concentrating on the Haslet area, in the other direction we were wondering about Kennedale.
Thank you,
MBG

lots of new growth
saw article in FTW paper recently that showed Kennendale having highest growth rates in Tarrant co in past year--people are moving there and building on larger size lots I guess or putting in mobile homes maybe--lots of county roads--2 lanes for most part--rural area w/small farms/ranches for most part....from what I can tell driving through looking for lot to build on...
some developments--do MLS search for the town--
not sure how zoning works down there--not much business/med centers/grocery stores/up scale shopping around---don't know where the closest Wal-Mart or Tom Thumb or Kroger is--Mansfield to the west or Parks Mall area on I-20 Arlington is closer big-stream shopping area than Hulen Mall on I 20 SW FTW

Kennedale
I grew up in Kennedale, TX and my parents still live there. It is pretty nice. It has the small town feel, but is right in the middle of the DFW area. 5 mins out your front door is Ft. Worth and Arlington, 10 mins out your back door is Dallas. It has a brand new High School, built about 5-6 years ago and the school system is great (smaller classrooms compared to the surrounding cities.) Growing up, I didn't particularly like it, but now that I'm older and family oriented, I could see myself living in Kennedale very easily. The town is growing rapidly. The only problem I have seen recently, is the political scene. The city is run by a city manager which has recently made some questionable decisions regarding the wellfare of the city of Kennedale...i.e. Wal-Mart.

Kennedale
Kennedale is one of the cities I am looking at to move. Can someone give me some information about the city and schools? Is it a good place to live and what is the price range of renting? Thanks for your feedback!

It only makes sense Kennedale is growing. It's closer to Ft Worth and Arlington than Mansfield but cheaper at the same time.
I'm not sure the schools are as good as those in the Mansfield ISD or South Arlington in the AISD, though.
