Thumbs up I'm glad I live here!

Hi ya'll I am glad that I live in the Great State of Texas! ;-) it's a wonderful state, full of wonderful people, opnions are great and people speak from their heart and don't cover the truth. The City cares about it's people. I am from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, i am sure that most of you heard abou the flooding that happened last year, one thing i am ashamed about is that quick response, the flooding happened in June, there are still houses standing, smelling of mold and it makes the city smell and look horriable, that is one of the main reasons that we moved to Texas, a state that takes care of it's people..

I've been to Cedar Rapids. It didn't take a flood to get me to leave, just the next plane out.

I never thought the smell of oatmeal could make me sick, but Cedar Rapids taught me something new.

Yeah thanks I agree wholeheartedly, a word of advice, keep off teh Iowa page in forums they are mean and brutely honest even with people that are from there..

I really hated living in cr even b4 the flood, Cr is know as the city of 5 smells, don't ask..

My hubby is from Fort Worth, which is an awesome city to live in, WFAA had a thing last night about how more people are living there.. Yeah for us.

Someone else said that Fort Worth is flat and has no natural beauty, I take offense to that, so would my husband...
