Yes, I did this and got the home 12K below asking price in the Huntwick area of Arlington..very beautiful, peaceful area of older homes.

Its not just the potential for oil & gas, but water - this stuff is also becoming a commodity. Just ask residents of places like Austin and elsewhere. This is only going be more so as the state population grows.

Yes I agree. And the need for solar will be on the rise here in Texas...we have plenty of sun and the utility company can buy your surplus which is a added plus. I am working to get at least 50% off the grid in the next 2 to 5 years. Making your home energy efficient will be a good selling point in the near future.
