Hi, I'm considering a move (relocation) to either Ft. Worth or Murrieta, CA. I just wanted to receive some input about what it's like in Ft. Worth. Mostly pertaining to Climate, Schools, Housing, General Living and community values, what is there to do?. Any other advice will be greatly appreciated. I have a family of five with 2 girls (ages 5 and 2) and a boy (aged 1 in July).

I live in PA (northeast) and am tired of the snow and cold weather during the winter, as well as other reasons.

Thank You,

Doug

Fort Worth is a great area!

Unlike California, we have not seen home values drop significantly over the past year. Homes are still extremely affordable and our job market is relatively stable.

Regarding the weather... that's always an interesting subject! April to October are warm months, with the summer being dry and hot, mostly in the 90's to the 100 range. We have very few cold months with just a couple of days per year of snow or ice.

The schools are decent in Fort Worth, although some people prefer to look in outside communities for higher ranked schools.

There's lots to do around Fort Worth - shopping, entertainment, restaurants, etc. Check out Sundance Square and the Stockyards online.

Feel free to message me privately with any questions!
