Need church recommendations for Johnson County, TX (s. of Ft Worth)
There are so many churches it will take forever to visit all when I'd like to find a good church as soon as I can.
Sure, I have looked at websites, but if you or a friend has a church you like, could you tell me why and a bit more about it? That might help me narrow down and visit a church that's more likely to be what I'm looking for.
I'm interested in anything you have to share, but here are a few things I'd be particularly interested in:
Distinctives: What sets this church apart, compared to all the other churches in the area? Why would a person choose this church as opposed to others?
Beliefs: what denomination are they or what are they most similar to (for non-denominational)?
Size: Approximately how many people attend the church every week?
Music: What kinds of songs do they sing?
Preaching: What's the pastor going through right now? Or, what are some typical sermons or series?
And, for keyword searching... I'd be interested in churches in Johnson County Texas: Cleburne, Burleson, Joshua, Keene, Godley, Rio Vista, Alvarado, Crowley, Grand View... maybe in other areas...
