Nice pics MBG and Syn! When I checked outside a couple hours ago, it was just heavy rain. It started out as snow as lunch hour began. But I was inside and didn't get to see it.

We live in Keller and it really is snowing hard. I picked up my kids early from school and we played in the snow. It is beautiful outside and nice and warm inside. What a great day, but I hope it melts off before the weekend.

This weather report said that the Metroplex could receive up to 6", but most of D/FW will get 1-3" of snow.
When I moved from NJ, I moved my snow shovel as well (kind of accidentally). When my friends see that shovel in the garage, they laugh. Just once, I want to use it and be the envy of everyone in my neighborhood.

Here's the snowfall tally in N. TX. Gainesville saw 9"; Denton received 7". DFW Airport canceled a ton of flights.

I experienced some severe weather last night! Right around 1:30-2:00 a.m., the sky just opened up. High winds, lightning, thunder, heavy rain ... the whole shebang. I don't mind since it'll allow me to keep my sprinkler system off for another week.

We got rain, too, but I was hoping for more. I didn't notice that we had severe weather, though. We're fixin to head into the stormy spring season! Fun, fun!
