Here's a picture of my backyard after it snowed on Thurs.

A coworker in Haslet said he got 7" of snow that day!

We got some heavy rain this morning and it's still coming down pretty good.

I'll turn off my sprinkler for yet another week.

What a day to have to drive into Dallas!!!
I had to drive to Dallas today from Granbury for some test. It was horrible. We left Granbury at 7am and got to Dallas at 9:15. It was raining in the morning on and off but when we left the hospital in Dallas around 2pm it was pouring raining with strong winds that actually blew my umbrella frame up!!! You could barely see 20 feet in front of you on the freeway. Well maybe more then 20 feet but it was pretty scary!!! We did make it home in one piece though.

Now everybody be careful out there. We don't want anyone getting swept away.

Default Rainfall Totals

Here's the total rainfall amount from yesterday's rainstorm for the D/FW area. One town got over 7"! DFW Airport clocked in just under 3".

Our lawns will be turning green really soon.

No, they didn't. His friend last night got away okay. There wasn't a whole lot to be done once it got dark without putting the rescuers in danger. This morning they were going to assess the situation and go from there. But if they haven't found him by now, it's probably not good news.

That is tragic, but it begs the question what was he doing out there, esp. w/ the weather as it was.
