Glad she made it back OK.

I heard the rain in the middle of the night, but it seemed moderate at worse. I wonder how many inches fell across D/FW.

I think I'll turn off my sprinkler for this week.

One of my friends in Austin said they got some severe weather down there last night. Just north of his city, a town got tennis ball sized hail. In Austin, it was limited to pebble sized and smaller. That system eventually made its way to SE of Dallas. But most of D/FW was spared. I think rain is predicted for tonight, but I don't know if it'll be "severe". So far, the weather is great today.
Yes, Watertown even broke the record for a one day snowfall with a total of 19 inches. We ONLY got either 14 or 15 inches, depending on which channel you're listening to.

I'd take the thunderstorms that you guys have any day over this stuff.

Wow, that's crazy!

And here people in the D/FW area were complaining about the temp. hitting around 40 deg. this morning (near or at record low).

Wow, we finally got some severe weather again after a long layoff. I don't think it had rained for a month before we got a lot of rain earlier this morning. The thunder woke me up around 5:30 and it was going nonstop for at least a few hours, even after I got to work. My lawn will appreciate the rainfall. I wonder how much fell.

Here's an article on it.

Just wondering how everyone fared during last night's storms. The lightening was incredible and some wind but very little rain at all here. It looked like North Richland Hills might be seeing more. What about other parts of the mextroplex?

It developed pretty much right on top of us here in NRH, though Haltom City seemed to get quite a bit on the border of it and Fort Worth. It blew our basketball goal down and we thought it was going to yank out the power lines....you'd be amazed at how much they can stretch....haha

Thankfully no damage at all here and all puddles have already seeped into the ground or evaporated by now!

here in Keller we had a great soaking rain and we had dime-nickle sized hail...very short lived and no damage.

No rain at all on Wed. evening in NW FW. But a pretty cool lightning show (no thunder). I was literally on the border where it was blue skies on one side and gray clouds on the other.

I heard on channel 21 news tonight this is the 3rd hottest month of June on record for the DFW area. They were talking the highest average temperature for the month when they stated this.
