Default public transportation from fort worth to Dallas

I am thinking of taking the amtrak from Norman, Ok down to Fort Worth
but I am trying to find out if there are any forms of public transportation
on over to Dallas? If I remember correctly another Amtrak goes over
to Dallas but it might be a few hours wait.

Thanks

The TRE (Trinity Railway Express) goes between downtown Fort Worth and downtown Dallas with several stops in between. You can get it's schedule on the website, but understand there are no trains on Sundays and many holidays.

we know someone whose mom has family in Oklahoma and does not like to drive to visit them so she will take the train periodically
there are times when her train has been sidelined to wait while freight trains take preceedence
check your schedule carefully and ask about reliability of times
