My 10 yr old son has a skateboard and where we live here in CA (out in the boonies with no sidewalks or paved roads-Man I can't wait to get out of here), he can't ride his skateboard.

Are there any skateparks or places in the Fort Worth area, or more specifically near Bedford where he might be able to ride?

Thanks

From Bedford, depenging on how you go, the Grapevine Mills Mall skateboard park is about 20 min away... and it is indoors so is all=weather...but kinda small...

There are many skaters in this area--youth and older teens/young adults...
but the city does have ordinances about skating on private/public parking lots and some sidewalks like shopping centers and in the parks where there are parking lots and sidewalks that have highs and lows....kids skate there but they aren't supposed to....

the schools have mixed policy about the boards--some kids skate to school and put their boards in lockers...some times the policy seems to be not to let them on campus even if they are carried...they are not suppsed to skate on school property--

think some of the cities in the areas have part of their city parks for skateboarding...might run search for North Richland Hills or Hurst or Euless or Grapevine city parks and see what each one has to offer....
