Default Arlington Electric Bills

Hello All,

I have a 1225 Sq. Ft. condo in Arlington, and we have been paying about $220/mo. for electric with Reliant. In the winter in January we had a $380 bill. Does everyone else pay this much for something comparable? If not, we probably need to get someone to come look at duct work/additional insulation.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

For a place that has electric heat, not great insulation, and using Reliant (not the cheapest) those bills are expected. I have a similar place (a bit larger but we kept it cool) used a lower priced electricity provider had bills in the same range. It is difficult to get an exact comparison where the amount of hot water used, kitchen use, thermostat setting, etc. will really change power used.
