Hi, i am 24 and i am want to move to Arlington because i think i can use the job opportunities in Dallas with low cost of living in Arlington, but i am not sure if that is truth or not.

Arlington is more of a Fort Worth suburb. FW suburbs feel different than Dallas suburbs.

I loved living in Arlington, I am more used to small towns...the traffic was brutal and I would hate to get up and drive into Dallas every day...

so you do agree with me?? the cost is less than Dallas? does it worth to go to Arlington and drive to Dallas or not? or is it better to go to Dallas from beginning?

I think it depends on what part of Dallas your going to work in. My neice lives right in Dallas and its very nice where she lives...she has a condo in an area where some VERY expensive older homes are built, I can't think of the name...

that's great! i taught the cost could be much cheaper....well about the driving...as i searched the Internet The distance between Dallas, TX and Arlington, TX is 18.0 miles(29.0 km) so it could be only 30 minutes....... how do you think???

Not sure where in Dallas you'd be working, but depending how far the commute from Arlington can defin. be a tough one. I speak from experience b/c I've been doing it for over two years and am now in the process of moving to Dallas!

can you help me where to find a good place in Arlington to rent an apartment? well my family are coming from other country and my parents want a small city to raise my little high school sisters in there far from crime and problems and i thought may be is good to go in Arlington so i can take an advantage of Dallas for myself and let them to be in Arlington....is their good schools there? is it a city or just looks like a village?!

Arlington's a major city in it's own right with an estimated population of 362,805 for 2005. That makes it the 50th largest city in the US.

I don't know if it's an issue with you, but Arlington does have a fairly substantial crime rate. There might be other places which would be more attractive to live in but still economical. I think you should investigate before deciding on Arlington. Don't remember why (lot of help I am-
)but Arlington has received some fairly negative "press" on this forum if memory serves me correctly!
