I would check out Burleson (definitely a small-town feel!), Rendon (between Burleson and Mansfield, 20 min from Ft. Worth), and Aledo (great schools).

Argyle!!!! I live in Roanoke and Argyle sounds like exactly what you are looking for.

It's 10 minutes from Roanoke and a small community. Everyone knows everyone, but it has a really good school (small 3A) and several wonderful churches to choose between. I'm not sure what your price range is because its a little more expensive, but its where I'd love to live if we could afford it. Mainly because the land all has large mature trees which I love.

We like Decatur too, but it pretty dang far out there. We just aren't sure we want to live that far away.

Close to Ft. Worth. You should look at Burleson! Beautiful small town that is growing.
