I need Ortho referrals for my kids.. i have been to 2 places so far, one was very fancy and probably $$$( only one I got a quote with so unsure but looked fancy as hell), and the second one I left after i had to wait almost 45 past the Consult time to be called back( actually left before they called ). Both places had an assembly line feel with extra's like T-shirts for "joining up" and several video games and Tvs for the kids to play.
Are there any Orthos that are more down to earth??? I just want braces.... not all the theatrics!

TIA

Two of the best orthodontists in Keller are Dr McRenyolds (we currently use) and Dr Tamara Miller.

This is our 3rd state and our 3rd Ortho. (2nd child currently in) I usually go to 4-5 places before I decide and get Reccomendation from neighbors etc...
MY middle child has MANY issues and we were fortunate to have a fantastic Ortho in VA who started us in the right direction. When we moved she had finished "phase I" and was ready for "phase II" so the search began again. These were the ONLY 2 who correctly diagnosed her and weren't going to do just a "quick fix" so that in 3 years she would have to go through it AGAIN. Yes it happens.

So make sure you get plenty of consults and listen to whet they tell you you need etc... You will be more informed. Also use your family dentist to see who they recommend as well.

I can you from expirence that cost is pretty much the same... Phase I will run about 2000
and Phase II (full mouth set of braces) will run about 5000

With my son we used Hidden Lakes Orthodontics. Dr. Saunders is great! Raquel is her receptionist and is also a wonderful person. They worked with us one a payment plan, and when my husband changed jobs and we had dental insurance, they work with us on that too. It only took 18 months for my son to have a great smile! It was $5000, but she takes payments and will work with you. She is located at. 8825 Davis Boulevard Suite 150, North Richland Hills, TX 76180

Most will have 4 to 5 options for payment.
Most will have an in-house option that is intrest free.
Also most will give a discount is you pay in full up front. (the HSA's are great for this if you don't have ortho insurance)
All should give a free consult w/ pictures etc...

I have heard positive things about Hidden Lakes Ortho.
