Where to live? I need som help (Austin, Fort Worth: HOA, new home)

Hello,

We may have a possible move on our hands up to Fort Worth, we currently live in Austin, TX. I have never been to Fort Worth, but my husband has travelled there for business and really likes it. And now he may have a job opportunity that covers Fort Worth and north FT.

Where are there nice neighborhoods with good schools (we don't have kids yet), safe and clean around Fort Worth? I'm hoping to find something in the 175,000 - 200,000 range. I would also like a newer home like 3-4 years old as we own a home here in Austin and I've since been spoiled with a newer home.

There are definitely some great neighborhoods in that price range. I'd recommend North Fort Worth. You can easily get into a new/newer home in that area.

will PM an MLS site and you can search all areas of FTW for what you like
check the schools given with the home info--
better rated schools show exemplary, then recognized, then acceptable

elementary rated Exemplary are pretty easy to find, middle schools rated that well are progressively more rare--so usually indicate a good quality district...

The Courts of Willow Creek and Creekwood are a couple of subdivisions that come to mind in the Saginaw area. Creekwood is off of Bailey Boswell, but you have the elementary and middle school right there.
The Courts of Willow Creek is a beautiful neighborhood in the heart of Saginaw. It's an HOA community that runs along the city park and walking trail. If you continue down Knowles (the street the park is located on), you will come up on a couple of other very nice neighborhoods...I'm sorry, I can't think of their names at the moment. They are building a brand new elementary school about a mile from those neighborhoods.
The Commons of Willow Creek is a neighborhood across from The Courts of Willow Creek. The Commons is an HOA community as well and they some empty lots, if you are looking to build.

Heritage - Hillwood Residential | Heritage | Keller, TX | Home. The schools are rated exemplary, new homes in your price range.

North Fort Worth is definitely your best bet! Try relocating to an area in the Keller Independent School District if schools are important to you. I'd recommend Heritage, like expatChicagoan. Also, check out The Villages of Woodland Springs. Both of these areas are located in north Fort Worth. Keller would also be a good choice, but homes tend to be pricier there compared to north Fort Worth.

I'd like to recommend Heritage as well. Its probably the best of the North Fort Worth New Development.
