I am wanting to move back to Fort Worth and would like to find a place with a couple of acres to keep my horses and would like a place to ride, like trails and such.

There's a house listed for sale around Benbrook Lake and it's got a little land with it--says horses are okay. I know awhile back, you could ride on the government/corps of engineers land around the lake. I emailed the real estate folks and they said people still do. I was just wondering if anybody with horses out in that area would know anything about the area and if there's still a lot of "horse activity" like that around there.

i don't have any horses, but i lived in Benbrook a few years ago, and yeah, there's plenty of horse activity out there...plus, weatherford is a 15 minute drive, and there's plenty of activity out there too....

i loved benbrook, great location, no traffic, close to everything and pretty rural setting...

Hey QHossRider!
I went to the Benbrook city park yesterday and noticed a huge stable right next to the park. I can't personally help you out by providing the information you are looking for but my guess is that if you contacted this stable, they may have some of the information you are looking for ~ just an idea.
