Is anyone planning on attending the Indy Racing League Bombardier Learjet 550K race at Texas Motor Speedway (http://www.texasmotorspeedway.com/IndividualTickets.aspx?Event=2 - broken link) this coming weekend (June 9, 2007)? Even though I'm not a big pro racing fan, since it's local, I bought tickets.

I'm a season pass holder at TMS. I usually go to the IRL race (used to be two races but now it's just the one in June). Got other plans this year so I'm skipping it. Got two frontstretch tickets just sitting here....hint hint.

I'm sure it will be crowded, like it was last year when we went. Hopefully it won't rain. My friends and I are looking forward to it. If it ends at a decent hour, we'll head down to Sundance Sq.

My friends and I attended the race at TMS last night. It was fun! Here's a recap of the race. Hornish Jr. won, Kanaan got 2nd place, and Patrick came in 3rd, getting on the podium for the first time (albeit w/ some luck on her part).
