Sounds like they could have made a lot more money from a scrap metal place. At least around there they pay 1.80 a pound for beverage cans.

Unusual, but makes much more sense to me than going into debt to have the wedding they want.

See now, if I recycled 400,000 cans in the machines at 5 cents each, that comes out to $20,000. Where did they do? It seems they they got what $3-$4K?

Of course, I would be taking them little by little. Maybe they took them all at once?
