Personally I prefer pot cookies.

I bet the nutritional value in those 50 cent pot pies is very minimal.

Not if supplemented with a side of fruit and veggies I bet not.

You can take back the remaining ones for a refund. Even if eaten, take back the carton, if you have it, or the receipt. I've found even if you have no "proof" they will take your word for it for a reasonable amount, say 5-6.

You're on a tight budget and trying to save a few bucks. You shouldn't be cheated with rotten food.

It's not necessarily rotten though...all that grease if you're not used to it can go right through.

Right on, I would rather just buy chicken. I mean, if you thaw out meat really good it will cook in not much more time than pot pies.

It won't kill you as long as you eat them in moderation. Mistygirl makes a good point about adding additional vegetables. They're a cheap, convenient food. Good for when you might not have the time or energy to cook. Or just to occasionally have for lunch.

Good thing to have on hand in emergencies. If we have a quake and the stores are shut I have access to some sort of milk.... and we can use it in our coffee. (Our car has a regular style two prong plug, so we can still have coffee if we lose power.... and we all know how important that is! )
