If you notice all the lighter shade of green (cheapest). These states all have cheap power resources namely coal, nucs and Hydro in the PacNW

That's what packer & I are saying... the map is wrong.
PA is coal and nukes too.. and the maps says 12.60, when in reality mine is 6.26.

Ohio says 11.68-11.8X

We are under a reduced plan for 5.9 for a year, but it is normally 6.1.

Last I checked were in residential not industrial which is closer to the 5.9 that we pay.

That map is useless unless I'm somehow paying HALF of what others in Ohio are paying.

My latest bill was 8.6 cents / kwh. In the nonsummer months about 11 cents due to lower usage.

We are actually a little lower than the lowest rate shown (in WA) but we more than make up for it with higher sewage treatment and surfacewater management charges.

Could this explain why my HOA (which covers water/sewer) is so freaking high???

We're about 13 months away from breaking even on our solar panels. You have to own your home/land... but it's certainly the frugal way to go about electricity.

Looking like my electric bill has the rate as being 10.57/kph. In my 1750 sq foot home my latest bill is $193.09. Water here is reasonable, cable/phone/internet is through the roof. We have septic tanks, so no sewer.

In UK to lower our energy bills we use websites where you give your current bill and they give you new supplier with better rate I used one of them - tower utility
