Medicare is my best bargain of the day. What a deal! Part B premium is $115 per month. Low co-pays on my Medicare Advantage Plan, which is Kaiser in Los Angeles County. Of course that won't last forever, as it is unsustainable and will have to be re-structured. I'm OK with paying more, but right now it's a fantastic deal.

In 2 weeks I'll be in Afghanistan where the food is free, no utilities to pay, and no rent.

Try to top that!

This was about the best deal isn't it, not quality of living, right?

Three cases of S&W canned peaches for 20 cents a can, regular price is $1.20. I saved 72 bucks off the regular price. Store clerk had just marked them down and was moving them to the clearance area when I walked by. The company changed the label. Expiration is Jan 2014.

My kids will be eating peaches for a while.

Got a rental car and...
saved 30% by comparing prices in 2 neighboring towns. Couldn't believe there could be 30% price difference for the same sized car, on the same dates, at the same rental company.

Then...shopped online for coupon codes and discounts. Found out they give an additional discount if you are with GEICO, so I was able to use that discount that also comes with a free upgrade. In the end, would have paid approx $210/wk, and instead will pay $120/wk.

Do you mind sharing the name of the car rental company?

Thanks, sware2cod. We only save 15%, but I'm happy with it.

Default My Great Deal

Purchased a pair of SB Athletic pants for winter. Nice navy blue with double white stripes down each side leg. Retail priced $28. Found on the clearance rack for $10 plus change. Used my JCPenney $10 off coupon. Walked out of the store with a great pair of winter wear that cost me 43 cents.
