Most of you have got me beat; the biggest thing I've won was a FlipVideo camera in a drawing. I use the heck out of it, tho.

I won $8700 on a slot machine at a casino. DH and I went into the casino to eat and while waiting for our food we sat down at the machines near our table. I put in $40 and walked away with $8700. I could not believe it. I never win ANYTHING. We added the money to our downpayment for our home.

When I was 12 or 13, I was the whatever-number-caller to a radio station. The DJ told me I had won an album, but didn't say who the artist was. Turns out it was The Lennon Sisters. I was so disappointed (this was in 1967).

Recently I won a pasta dinner from a restaurant. I picked it up, brought it home, and when I got home I had a voice mail from the manager. He said they prepared the wrong dinner for me and that I could come in and claim another. So, I got two dinners which would have cost me $56.
