Went to the Bowers Museum (in Santa Ana for those of you who are interested) to check out Faberge collection today. They have a free day for the first 1500 guest for the first Sunday of each month (Weekday admission is $13 bucks and weekend admission is $15). But they don't seem to keep count from what I saw. Parking was six bucks in their parking lot. Street parking might be free.
I didn't have that much fun but I caught about 30 minutes of zzzzz's (priceless) and used a coupon for a new Italian/Pizza place that opened down the road.
Worked all day today, came back to the Airstream (Cheaper than a Hotel)
Ate food I carried with me, or cooked here, did laundry in the campground laundry-mat, called my GF, and took a little time to myself and had a campfire.
We fixed our dryer. Last week, hubs did a load of rags, and when I pulled the lint trap it was so chock full, over half of it broke off and went down the trap.... and the next load took twice as long to dry.
So about 10 screws and much cussing later, we vacuumed out the big wad o' fluff and the next load dried in the normal amount of time.
I tend to spend a LOT of money at the grocery store (I love good foods), but went in with a $20 bill and agreed I wouldn't spend more than that. I got all my yogurts, milk, veggies and fruit for the week for just under $14.
I got some new oil for FREE from a friend that's a master mechanic at the local Mazda dealer, so I could change my oil. Total cost was $0!, just cost me 25 min.
