I stopped buying an iced coffee every morning. Instead I make coffee the night before, put it in the fridge and make it at home in the morning.

Saves me over 10 bucks a week

mmmm iced coffee sounds good......

I have been sick in bed for two days so no chiropractor, saved fifty bux, and blew off grocery shopping today. Saved by no coking and very little eating.

I will have to run into small town to get lotto tix and I need Tagamet drastically, the famotidine (Pepcid) is not doing it and my stomach feels like we're on a ship........

made DH a lovely hot lunch from left overs in the fridge and he never batted an eye. So glad I don't have one of those husbands who turns his nose up at leftovers.

Had some various leftovers from a funeral luncheon I prepared earlier in the week. I cooked some onions with peppers and chopped garden tomatoes, scrambled 6 eggs into it and added a container of feta cheese. Also used fresh oregano and fresh dill from my herb garden. I am serving this on leftover toasted croissants -- it is actually very tasty. Also chopped up two leftover cucumbers with red onion and dill and sour cream for a side salad. Just shopped in my refrigerator today!

Well -- here's one. My desk calculator died. Went to Staples bought a new one out of the three they had available, got a coupon for 30 bucks off the next online purchase over 80 bucks..

When I got it home, I realized that it's too big and is one of those crappy ones that takes batteries OR the stupid vampire plug.

Got online, ordered the right on, saved 15% on it right there, bought an ink cartridge pack, and a paper notebook, and saved the 30 bucks. And got free shipping.

I'll take back the first calculator next week.

Been working on making something out of wood besides sawdust. Recently saw an ad on Craigslist for free lumber, you haul. When I called it was Aaron's Rent To Own and the lumber was the packing crates for the flat screen TVs. A lot of 1X and 2X4s. I built a little table to use in the yard by my charcoal grill. Everything used to make the table, except the 3/4 4 X 8 OSB board I bought for $8 at Lowe's came from the scrap lumber I got at Aaron's.

Nice going all!

Franny, I am saddened by your news of a funeral, I hope they who lost feel comfort.

Very cool gman!

DH stayed up late watching movies, so he went back to bed after breakfast. I am still not feeling much better, small tasks still exhaust me, so no going to town today. We may just wing it local and not go to the metropolis for the weekly shopping. The only thing we really need is liquor, and a new one opened up in the small town near here, only 16 miles away instead of 32 to the metropolis.

Also going to skip nails this week, more saved.
