They are freaking amazing! The cut is super good... they feel sturdy etc...!! super happy with them!

/On another note.. one of the GAPS nearby is going out of business... and I asked what they were doing with the stuff in the store...

They said most would be trashed...

I offered to take them out of the store for them...

So I got lots of GOOD AMAZING stuff!!!

We-re talking sturdy shelves... racks... wood tables and such... and also mannequins which are valued by a lot!!

Here are a few pics of what i got!!

i got 42 mannequins and it seems each new mannequin goes for about 1000 dollars... even if i sell it for 200 each ... thats about 9000 dollars worth of mannequins...
Don't think anyone can top this.

Ok, we're going to Houston tomorrow for a doctor's appointment, a specialist. The trip will cost

$45 for the doctor he is a specialist
$10 for parking, any cheaper is too far to walk

At least $30 for gas, depending on how many Kroger gas points we have and price of gas

Now we're are at $85, still haven't eaten anything With my teeage son eating machine, that's not a mistake you make! We will pack water, granola bars, some cheese wedges, ham sandwiches, chips......but he still wants to stop at a restaurant and had a "real meal" so do I I try to collect coupons for such trips----BOGO, get free dessert, free appetizer, whatever......I smply can do the whole round trip on nothing but "road kill -- stuff from MCD,Jack-In-Box, etc I usually end up feeling out of sorts after a day or so

Make sure to talk along afterwards I have a favorite restaurant I would prefer to stop at, but for the 3 of us would be ~ $60+

No, eat a good breakfast----I'm making scrambled egg sausage tacos wrapped up to take with us in foil, thermos of coffee, water, and ham and roast beef sandwishes

The only real variable cost in this little trip is the eats. Stop at a restaurant or FF place and the cost piles on!

Years ago we had a national chain store go out of business and we bought dirt cheap some terrific shelving systems which we installed in our garage. It made all the difference in the world. We took it down from that house and brought it with us to our new house about 6 years ago and we have more storage than we know what to do with. It would have been even better if it had all been free.

$45 to see any doctor today is dirt cheap. I'm wondering what kind of MD can even afford such a cheap price. Around here regular doctor's appt cost anywhere from $120 to $320 and specialists cost twice as much. I see a retina specialist ever 4 weeks for injections in my eyes and those appointments cost almost $4,500. Thank god medicare and BCBS get most of it. I've been doing this for 6+ years.

I would imagine that is their copay for a specialist. I pay $15 for a regular Dr and and $50 for a specialist.

Firday; cancelled the chiropractor because of the snow, saved 50 dollars. Waited out the storm until the roads were clear then dashed into town for supplies when it was a warm 32F rather than go the next day in 15F degree temps.

MaryLee, your plan looks good. I always hit the road with water, Gatorade. I keep Ensure in the rig in case of emergency.

Lusitano, you are amazing! That was a lot of work.

That was nice about the boots FrannyBear. Their stuff is really sturdy.

Watching the snow come down, up to twelve inches they are forecasting *sigh*

My insurance will pay for lost or damaged RX, about 2/year.

Ok, I had an ear infection, doc gave me 10 days of antibiotic, then wanted me to come back. He would charge $45 again, plus whatever tests he could dream up

so, I just renewed the antibiotic on the lost/damaged waiver. Just paid $10, and, with the second round, the ear has cleared up! I just needed some extra antibiotics!

I know, I will get lectured here about "over use of antiobiotics" etc, but hey, this isn't "overuse" and that's all the doc would have done, anyways. Plus gas, parking, I figure I saved at least $60 and cleared up my ear infection

That's like last summer Coldwater Creek went OOB. We bought 100 wood hangers for 50 cents each, so, $50 total. Can't get plastic hangers for that!

You might want to go ask your pharmacist whether this is allowed. Also check with your state. It sounds like fraud. You received more antibiotics than you were prescribed... and you lied to do so.
