That's a lot of processed food. Might as well buy canned tuna and forgo your health at that point.

It is possible to be frugal and eat healthy.

I'm still using up things I have. Tonight's meal is salmon carrots & rice. Still have frozen salmon but rice & vegetables are finally used up. Finally have some freezer room.

finally admitted to myself my 13 year old daughters will not wear anything I order for them online. When they were little everything either fit or not but now they want to pick themselves. Which of course I understand.

So after sitting unworn in their room since Christmas, I'm sending back a sweater set. 2 leggings and 2 jackets from Lands End. Love their return policy...

Chicken soup on the stove using some oldish carrots, onion, celery and tops, a few old mushrooms, 3 cloves of garlic and the pickings of a roast chicken that was 88 cents a pound at shoppers. We got 3 dinners and 2 lunches out of it and now soup. Dog got skin

This is the 21st century. Don't you know, there are Youtube videos that explain how to fix most anything on your car, or house.

On any search engine, just google "fix (or replace) (whatever) on (insert your year and model of car)" and you'll usually find several videos explaining the step-by-step process, with close-ups of a mechanic doing the job. The mechanic filmers earn a few cents for each time their video is viewed. There also videos explaining how to do every possible kind of home repair.

I cleaned out my January coupons, (last day of the month), to purchase some items. Total was $24.20, online coupons and sales savings were a total of $9.25. A good day.
