I am replying to the title of your post, as I assume that this is what you want replies on.


Since you are homeless, I'd say that you are making good use of resources. If you do not need to live homelessly, then you are not only cheap but a leech (however, it sounds to me like it isn't a choice for you).


What I consider truly "cheap" are people who like to sponge off others when they really don't need to, and my husband and I recently discussed a few family members that have done this in the past. These are people who didn't have a lot of money and they always managed to not ever contribute to meals out or anything else that they did with other family, and people got tired of it.


What do you do for meals? Community center? At least you have resources.

there was a google employee doing just the same thing and he was earning well north of $100k. Unfortunately, that salary prevented him from paying student loans and paying rent.
