When my husband got sick we sold our house and went to renting a furnished seasonal condo (two, actually - one in the north and one in the south) and traveling between the two. Thus everything I own needs to fit in my van. I really like living this way and don't miss any of the stuff I got rid of.

Although I am looking to buy a small house and quit "snowbirding" I hope to keep the minimalist lifestyle.

I'm glad I live in a building that supports helping the homeless. Each fall a box is left in the laundry for donations of clothes to the homeless. This has helped me pare out my clothing. Quilts? If I had extra I would ask shelters if they had a need.

I'm still going through things for Goodwill or thrift stores. It's an ongoing process until I am through.
At least I have stopped buying. Having been addicted to thrift store shopping, this is huge for me.
