We love both of ours. We got one and had to get a 2nd. We use them for shopping, banking, streaming to TV, etc. So much easier, convenient and cheaper than messing with the other stuff!

Many don't anymore, due to people wanting thinner/lighter machines. But you can certainly get a thumb drive or a usb hard drive, or a usb DVD drive for that matter.

What I like about the DVD player on the laptop was no skipping or freezing. There was several times when watching a DVD and it would freeze or skip which never happened on the laptop.
