I've got tops that I bought new in 1993. Used for work and still look new. Most of my clothes are classic ''prep'' and are 10-15 years old, if not older. I shop Good Will, Sal Army, and Wal Mart mostly. Get my old Levis and Faded Glory jeans on Ebay. I wear stuff til it wears out and some of it never does. Same with shoes. I've got one pair of Tretorn boots that I've had since 1991 and they look new. Love them. I buy running shoes and Skechers off the bargain table at Dicks and Meijer and recently scored my best pair of Asics sneakers at GW. Cost 125 new, I got them for 5 bucks. I collect and wear vintage LL Bean, Lands End, and Columnia outerwear off Ebay. Wear it all til it wears out. I do buy new undies and socks at Wal Mart once the current ones shred past staying on. And graphic tees? Don't get me started. They are alive and well in my wardrobe.GW, Big Dog, Ebay, Wal Mart. I live still in the 70s, 80s, and 90s and am happy in my delusion. I recently started collecting tie dyed tees too.

I don't need to be fashionable and I hate spending money. My highest cost items are sneakers and bras. After that I buy my t-shirts, Hanes v neck, at Walmart and all of my jeans at thrift stores and yard sales. I buy all of my jeans for $3.00 or less. Goodwill charges too much for them so I shop other thrift stores

Some of my best deals are at buck a bag sales….one year I got 5 pairs of new looking name brand jeans plus lots of books all for $1.00. I scored 2 years ago on named brand winter clothes for $5.00. I got about 15 pieces rolled up in that bag.

On average I spend about $100.00-$150.00 per year.
