With cars, I always buy used from private parties. Not only can you get great deals, but you get to talk to the person who owned it, lol. I may have an extra advantage as I have mechanical experience which helps into thoroughly checking the car over and asking the right questions. I also really like Low Miles and stay away from High Mileage cars.

Once I buy a certain model car, I'll stick to it. Once I learn all the tricks and secrets on repairing it and keeping it going, I now have all that specific knowledge to apply to the second one. I drove one style truck for 25 years and one style of car for 21 years, using this method, lol. A short while back, I had to bump up to a newer model and I am on my 2nd car (still driving the 1st) and into my 10 year on this particular model. I do most of my own repairs as mentioned and search for good deals when I need to have work done on it (front end alignments for example).

One last one for tonight, lol.

No Cable TV or a Dish. We have a special Antenna on the back of our TV. We now get 25 channels way out here in the country. Have never spent 1 Cent for TV ever. Probably saved at least $25,000 all through the years since it was introduced.

Thanks.

I {we} now own a home {I will fight for in the divorce}, have a paid for vehicle in the drive {two actually}, and have money in the Credit Union and retirement, and am on fast track to pay off house probably next year after closing in Nov 2015!

Of course MOH is entitled to half...of everything I and I alone have built for us, because MOH doesn't know a thing, or want to know a thing about the finances AT ALL, and only wants to know the "bills are paid". If I try to tell MOH anything about it...I get "I know I know. You handle it" is all. No participation, no nothing.

Oh, and apparently you didn't read my statement very well:

I said:
IF and WHEN I say "Yes Dear".....it is VERY sarcastic.

I didn't say it is sarcastic for others, it IS FOR ME.

have to smile abut the "yes dear" even though when I say it or hubby does, we usually mean it in a lovin way, i do have to admit, sometimes I say it, cause I am bored with what is it telling me, so I just keep on reading on playing on the computer and periodically answer "yes dear"
