I have my steak, fathead pizza, burger patties, buttered veggies, salad, etc. at dinner. More time to eat then. I generally only get 10 minutes for lunch (if that! Some days I work through lunch and just eat dinner, which is fine, because I have coffee blended with coconut oil for breakfast, and that holds me just fine).

Oh, and by the way folks, thanks for wasting your time answering me.

Did you know that there's a vegetarian/vegan forum here? Perhaps someone there will have additional suggestions.

not to mention avocados are one of the healthiest foods we can eat. Good for you!!! The only thing I might be a little concerned abut are the calories in a whole avocado.

being not a huge lunch eater, my frugal lunch is normally 1/2 sandwich and maybe a piece of fruit or left overs from the night before.

That is not enough food for me. I have been eating sandwiches for lunch for the past two weeks. I want real food.

I buy bags of unsweetened, dried-coconut, it is very good and cheap.
